Miley Cyrus, who is reportedly “furious” over her dad’s interview with GQ (where he compared Miley to dead celebs Kurt Cobain and Anna Nicole Smith), looked downright depressed yesterday afternoon while out shopping in Studio City.

Miles and her dad, who were once extremely close, apparently haven’t spoken for months.

Grabbing a sandwich from Panera, Miley seemed not to even notice the rain, and wore a sleeveless tee and her sweats pulled up as everyone else was wearing rain coats and carrying umbrellas.

Miley Cyrus: Fuming over father's comments!

Miley Cyrus is angry. Really angry. Peeved even.

A friend tells Pop Eater that the former Disney star simply can't believe her father opened up to GQ this manner in such a disturbing, strange manner.

"To say Miley is angry is an understatement," a pal says. "She's furious that her own flesh and blood would make a private matter so public. Who does he think he is, Michael Lohan?"

Reports claim Miley and her father have not spoken since December. We can't confirm that, but this same source says Miley has labeled her dad's comments as "unforgivable," adding:

"This isn't what a father does. He never said a bad world about Hannah Montana all those years it made millions for the family, and now that Miley has turned 18 and is making her own decisions, he does this. Unforgivable."

It's hard to argue with this insider, isn't it?

Disney insider responds to Billy Ray Cyrus, questions Miley's future

In a wide-ranging interview with GQ this month, Billy Ray Cyrus says he and his kids are under attack by Satan.

He also says the casting of Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana "destroyed" his family and that he'd take it all back "in a second" if he could. How does Disney feel about these remarks?

“We saw it coming for a long time,” a company source tells The Hollywood Reporter. “She wanted to mature herself, but it kind of backfired. Her future without Disney is TBD.”

As for Billy Ray's assertion in the same article that he made no money off Miley, the Disney insider says that's “ludicrous.” That pretty much sums up most of the country singer's quotes in that interview.

We mean, seriously: if an attack by Satan simply results in some skimpy clothing and bong smoking, this Lucifer guy has been been way oversold for awhile now.

Billy Ray Cyrus fears attack by Satan, death of Miley

Billy Ray Cyrus admits in the latest issue of GQ that he's concerned over the safety of daughter Miley, and for good reason: he says Satan has attacked his family.

Seriously. After telling the magazine "somewhere along this journey, both mine and Miley's faith has been shaken," Billy Ray is asked if he truly believes he and his children are "under attack by Satan." His response?

There's no doubt about it.

From there, the country singer went on to detail his regrets, his worries and why he finally drew the line at Miley's 18th birthday party. Totally self-serving, ridiculous excerpts from the interview are below.

Why is Satan attacking his family? It's the way it is. There has always been a battle between good and evil. Always will be. You think, 'This is a chance to make family entertainment, bring families together...' and look what it's turned into.

Why is he concerned about Miley? She's got a lot of people around her that's putting her in a great deal of danger.. I want to get her sheltered from the storm. Stop the insanity just for a minute.

Why didn't he attend her 18th birthday party? It was wrong. It was for 21 years old and up... I said, 'This whole thing's falling apart up there and they just want to blame all of this stuff on you again.' I'm staying out of it.

Is he worried Miley might die? I'm concerned about Miley. I think that [Kurt Cobain's] world was just spinning so fast and he had so many people around him that didn't help him. Like Anna Nicole Smith - you could see that train wreck coming... Michael Jackson. I was trying to reach out to Michael Jackson.

Does he wish Miley had never been cast as Hannah Montana? [It] destroyed my family... I'd take it back in a second. For my family to be here and just everybody be okay, safe and sound and happy and normal, would have been fantastic. Heck, yeah. I'd erase it all in a second if I could.

Wow. Just... wow. We've been as critical of Miley as anyone, but we just believe she often acts as a bad role model, not that she's anywhere close to Anna Nicole Smith territory.

Tour: rehearsals begin next month

After Miley had focused more on acting in recent months, now she is focusing more on her music.

The latest reports confirm this. Obviously that a tour is planned.

As "Miss Hollywood" has now been discovered on Twitter, the rehearsals for this tour will start very soon.

One of the dancers has Twittered this: "It's official now! The rehearsals for tour starting next month!"

Woohoo!

We're thrilled to finally see Miles on stage again.

If there's gonna be some early videos of her performances,

 we will watch them, of course. ♥

Ready for a new album?

According to a report of E! ONLINE, Miley like to turn off the film business, and pursue her music career.


After completing the filming of "So Undercover" Miley said: "There is no other movies, I WANT TO go on tour!".
